TSA State Conference Results
Busy, fun and rewarding 2023 TSA conference weekend. DSA represented Polk County well. Out of the 30 events we entered this year we finished with 19 Top 10 finalists awards, one 3rd place trophy (Digital Photography), and two 1st place trophies (Leadership Strategies and STEM Animation). We finished 8th Overall in the state out of the middle schools that participated in the conference (over 70 middle and high schools participated this year). We are so proud of this group of young women and men! Huge thanks to the teachers/TSA advisors that I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from throughout this journey Alice Rodriguez and Matt Huro. Another big thanks to our administration, parents, friends and former staff members for all of their love and support during this journey. We'll enjoy this for a little while and then get back at it for next year.
